About the value of each manufacturer's UV illuminance meter

Even if measured under the same UV irradiation conditions, the values indicated by each UV sensor and manufacturer may differ depending on the light-receiving characteristics and calculation formula of the device. We recommend the use of an illuminance meter of the same manufacturer to calculate irradiation conditions.
Will the Minamata Convention eventually make it impossible to use ultraviolet lamps?

The Minamata Convention covers general lighting applications, so special applications such as ultraviolet lamps and projectors are not regulated.

What is the Minamata Convention?

It refers to the new treaty on international mercury control to prevent mercury pollution, the draft text of which was agreed upon at the 5th session of the Intergovernmental Negotiating Committee (INC5) held in Geneva on January 13-18, 2013.
